Creativity has always been an important part of Soile’s life. Her first piece of music was written at age five. Refining her skills she went on to write hundreds of songs incorporating stories from her life as they happened. Someday Song was written during a writing-spree that saw a new song emerge daily, during an intensely creative period. With her childhood dream of releasing an album all too often interrupted by the hardships of life, she had to learn to let go.
Börja Om means “start again”, and refers to the recovery of her healing process. Emerging from a life-changing breakdown a new direction was pointed out to her. She acknowledged her need for change. Yoked to her ego, her dream became a burden. Once that yoke was removed, things fell into place. Unexpectedly she met Robin Tinglöf, and they were married. Combining an eclectic assortment of songs, he recorded her debut album in his home studio. Now that dream is reality. Soile’s “börja om” is here.
